ABYSS  is an authentic French superior absinthe recipe elaborated in 1811, an alcoholic liquor made from wine spirits produced from distilled absinthe herbs, titrated at 74%, ranking among the so-called "superior absinthes", and transmitted since from generation to generation.

A meticulous know-how, a guarantee of quality.

Drink responsibly.

Tasting

Tastings Note - The distillery
A yellow, green color with light green and gold reflections.
Herbal, blending with notes of caramel and mint.

A complex nose also bringing out the vanilla. Spices dominate, especially pepper.
Very powerful on the palate. A rich note of absinthe characterized by bitterness at the end of the mouth, a few mouths of anise come together in the middle of the spices.
Perfect to taste fresh, diluted with water as an aperitif, digestif on an ice cube or in a cocktail, decorated with crunchy almonds.
(see MIXOLOGY)

Tasting Notes - Sommelier magazine

Ripe peaches and apricot lend a sweetness to the anise-threaded nose.

On the palate a richness spreads luxuriously and lazily across the tongue, leaving an impressive finish of rye bread, black licorice, and black tea.

Gorgeous.
